The Matteson Housing Information Center is designed to help individuals who may want to reside in the Village of Matteson.  Our

purpose is to be the key source of information for schools, parks, shopping, and housing currently available for sale or rent.  Whether a person is looking for a beautiful place to call home or finding out what school their child will attend, we are here to answer questions.  The housing center staff sends out information packets, which further details all the amenities within the village.  The housing center staff regularly gives prospective residents tours of the community and schools.

The housing center strongly believes in the benefits derived from advertising.  Each year we collect data from our residents to help us plan a successful campaign, but nothing is more successful than our resident's word of mouth.  Our surveys show that over 50% of the people moving into Matteson heard about us through a friend and/or relative living in the community.  The Ambassadors Committed to Matteson, a voluntary committee of residents available to answer questions about what life is like living in the Village of Matteson.  The Housing Information Center also has a strong relationship with area realtors who understand and implement fair housing practices and comply with ordinances.  They are members of our "Realtors Committed to Matteson."  Newly developed homes are popping up all over the community.  The housing staff tour all the newly built homes, which prepares us to answer questions about location and prices.  To view homes and find out more about the developers, click custom homes.  The Housing Center is located in the Village Hall, 4900 Village Commons.  The office is staffed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and can be reached directly at (708) 503-3100.  Thank you for visiting the Matteson Housing Information Center.  Please take time out to fill out our brief survey form at the bottom of the page or select from here.
